There’s something about a long, exhausting day that turns even the most organized kitchen into a “what now?” zone. That moment hits hard—you open the fridge, stare at random ingredients, and silently hope dinner magically appears. Spoiler: it doesn’t. But that’s exactly how this creamy garlic Parmesan chicken pasta came to life.

Ingredients
Method
1. 🍝 Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until just tender (al dente). Before draining, save about ½ cup of pasta water—it helps adjust the sauce later. Drain and set aside.
2. 🍗 Sear the Chicken
Dry the chicken pieces with paper towels, then season with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and keep aside along with its juices.`
3. 🧄 Build the Garlic Base
Lower the heat to medium. Melt the remaining butter in the same pan. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring quickly for 30–60 seconds until fragrant—don’t let it burn!
4. 🍲 Create the Cream Sauce
Pour in chicken broth and gently scrape the pan to lift all those flavorful browned bits. Add heavy cream and the rest of the Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. 🧀 Make It Cheesy & Smooth
Turn the heat to low. Slowly stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce turns rich, creamy, and silky.
6. 🍽️ Bring It All Together
Return the chicken (and juices!) back into the skillet. Add pasta and toss everything together until well coated. If the sauce feels too thick, loosen it with a splash of reserved pasta water until glossy and smooth.
7. 🌿 Finish & Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve immediately while warm and creamy.
