Ingredients
Method
1. Melt the Chocolate
Place your chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in short 20-second bursts, stirring well after each round until smooth and glossy. Be patient — chocolate burns fast. Prefer the stovetop? Use a heatproof bowl over a pot of gently simmering water and stir until melted.
2. Mix in the Pretzels
Pour the pretzel sticks into the melted chocolate. Gently fold and stir until every piece is coated. Make sure the chocolate clings well — this helps the nests hold their shape later.
3. Shape the Nests
Line a tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Scoop small portions of the chocolate-coated pretzels onto the tray. Use your fingers or the back of a spoon to form little circles, pressing a slight dip in the center to resemble a nest. They don’t have to be perfect — rustic actually looks better!
4. Decorate
Before the chocolate firms up, press 2–3 mini eggs into the center of each nest. Want extra texture? Sprinkle shredded coconut around the edges. Add pastel sprinkles for a playful touch.
5. Chill Until Firm
Place the tray in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes, or until completely set. Once hardened, they’re ready to serve.
