1. Prep Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish (9×13-inch works best).
2. Mix the Creamy Base
In a large bowl, stir together:
- Cream of chicken soup
- Sour cream
Mix until smooth and well blended.
3. Add the Chicken
Fold in the shredded chicken. Make sure every piece gets coated in that creamy mixture.
4. Build the Casserole
Spread the mixture evenly into your prepared baking dish.
5. Make the Buttery Topping
In a separate bowl:
- Combine crushed crackers with melted butter
- Toss until all crumbs are coated
Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the casserole.
6. Bake to Perfection
Place in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until:
- The top turns golden brown
- The edges start bubbling
7. Let It Rest (Important!)
