Method
1. Prep the Oven & Pan
Start by heating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray so nothing sticks later.
2. Build the Oreo Base
Lay the whole Oreo cookies across the bottom of the dish in a single even layer. Try to cover as much space as possible—this is your crunchy foundation.
3. Add the Sweet Cream Layer
Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the Oreos. Let it seep into all the cookie gaps so every bite gets that rich sweetness.
4. Spread the Creamy Layer
Spoon the whipped topping over the cookies and gently spread it out. Don’t worry about perfection—it will melt beautifully while baking.
5. Add the Chocolate Cake Mix
Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the top. No mixing needed—just make sure it covers everything.
6. Butter It Up
Place the sliced butter pieces all over the cake mix. This helps create that golden, slightly crispy top layer.
7. Oreo Finish
Crush or chop about 8 Oreos and scatter them on top for extra crunch and chocolate flavor.
8. Bake
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top looks set and slightly crisp while the inside stays gooey and soft. Let it cool for about 10–15 minutes before serving (if you can wait that long!).
